Japanese Theme Songs Part Three

Along with Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera is one of the larger electronics store chains in Japan with the majority of their locations in the Kanto region. Americans should recognize their theme song, a jazzed-up variation of the anthem "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". It was definitely an interesting experience shopping for a vacuum cleaner and hearing a 19th century war hymn. Maybe I should have been shopping for a musket?

Wow - what a trip down memory lane! Yodabashi is like Best Buy on acid... Turn your mind off and let it envelop you. With the Happy Battle Hymn of the Republic providing the incessent soundtrack. No wonder I couldn't leave without dropping a few thousand yen...

I was trying to sing this song for a friend and gave up and Googled it... I always went to the one in Akihabara, and even when I went to go buy one thing I'd be there for hours and leave with lots of bags, and this stupid song stuck in the deepest corners of my brain. Sheesh I even bought a Y12,000 suitcase there! THE MUSICE MADE ME DO IT!!!! Thanks for the memories!
